Where’d I Go?
It was February 9th when I found out a lot, And your heart had made a change. Well there’s more to say than despite what all my friends think, But I know I believe. That each day brings a set of un-soothing things, That I find hard to relate. Well I know I’m not the only one who’s tried and died, So don’t ask yourself. “Where did he go?”
But when the sun gleams off the bay, And that midway wind just blows you away, To the furthest corner of his heart. At least I won’t see you around this town, I finally found a place to hide. Cause it’s unlikely, To spite me, and waste all this time. But at least I’m feeling alright.
Based on the assumptions in my mind. All the mistakes I’ve made have gone and left me blind. Like all of the strange things, you know I’d love to change. I’d trade’em for the looks I got by far, So where did I go? (You know)
When the moonlight guides the way, On a path I’ve crawled for 5 years and 47 days, Just to make it this far. At least I won’t see you around this town, I finally found a place to hide. It’s just like me, to spite me, And waste all your time. But at least I’m feeling all right.
